Today I am grateful for:

My husband, doing so much to help me with chores, and my life.

Getting River and my friend's horse fed their extra feed.

A nice meal in town with people from the barn (discussing show opportunities).

Getting groceries.

Our hot water line froze up briefly, but my sweetie figured out that the heat tape had been unplugged, and we got going again.

Monday, February 4

Today I am grateful for:

Being able to stay home, because my barn ally is feeding the horses today.

My sweetie is home, so we could just stay home together.

I made some biscotti, and a big pot of soup, and both are wonderful.

We brought in firewood and had a fire in the fireplace, and between that and the cooking, we kept the house toasty and warm (we're in the middle of a real cold snap, -30 C).

Being able to keep in touch with my family. I texted with my sister N, whose partner has been having a lot of health challenges. I had a good phone call with my Mom.

That this site seems to be working well enough for me to post my gratitudes, and to be able to connect with a few friends from PC.
