Today I am grateful for:

Going to an auction sale. It was a good distraction from the fact that we are now playing a waiting game, house-wise. Until the basement gets inspected, which might take a while, there's nothing more to do really.

It was a pretty cold day for standing around outside at the auction, so I'm glad I found some long underwear and dressed practically. There were still a fair number of people there, in spite of weather conditions.

I got a box of stuff, mainly for the old brass bells (I collect them). I'm thinking of reselling most of the other stuff in the box. I found lots of similar items online for sale, and if I were to get similar prices I would make some $$ off of this box, but I doubt that I would get those prices. Lots of interesting things in there for sure, though. Lots of brass things.

Enjoying the day, in spite of it being so cold. I didn't feel too bad, and there was lots of interesting stuff to look at, really old stuff.

Lots of kitty snuggles.

My sweetie and I got some insulation and heat tape onto the plumbing under the house, since we are dipping below freezing now at night.

Making good veggie soup for supper, and my sweetie baking chocolate zuchinni muffins.
