Today I am grateful for:

Making it to and from seeing River today safely. There was a lot of blowing snow, which wasn't sticking to the highway when I went to the barn, but by the time I was driving home, it was sticking and forming drifts and patches of ice, and the wind was higher and causing poor visibility. So, I tried to drive slowly, and made an earlier turn off the highway and took the gravel, because that would have more traction.

A good ride on River, with my riding friend. He was still not completely giving to collection, but he was quite forward. Seemed to be bending nicely, and good at moving off my leg to yield off the rail.

Having a nice nap when I got home.

Spending some time making "pretty" watercolors. I don't think of these as serious work, but hey, they're cheerful and I had fun doing them.
