Today I am grateful for:

Sunshine; the opportunity to actually get something done in the yard.

None of this makes the pile of dirt go away, or any of the crap around it, but at least I could do some mowing, and pulling weeds in the garden. I kind of get tired of yard work being what I do with most of my time, but today it was at least pleasant with the nice weather.

A good phone conversation with Mom. She seems a little more herself this last few calls, and I think it has a lot to do with having Homecare in charge of her medication. No more random self-medication. I was happy to hear my trainwreck sister was there to water her plants, and my brother was there checking on her. I'm kind of sad that it takes a crisis for my family to visit my Mom more, but at least they seem to be doing it.
