Today I am grateful for:

My sweetie decided to have his side looked at, and the doctor didn't think there was anything to be concerned about. Likely just a bruise in the deeper muscle (it doesn't seem too bruised at the surface, but it's causing him a lot of pain).

Since my sweetie can't really work on anything right now, we decided to go to the city.

I found a print of a painting I've always loved for sale very cheap on local buy and sell, so on our way to the city we picked it up. It's framed and matted and everything, so it was a very reasonable price.

We went to a rock shop/jewelry store I've been interested in for a while.

Picked up paint at an art supply place.

My sister S, the one who is one of Mom's POA, posted some texts to the family clarifying the situation that she and I talked about the other day. Apparently Mom had listed ME as the person who could hold the two POAs accountable financially (unbeknownst to me or anyone else) before it was mysteriously taken off of her legal papers. This is one of the things my sister learned in her brief conference with Mom's lawyer. The whole family has now been talking back and forth about the situation, and while no actual action has been suggested, I think my sister is laying things out to suggest to me that if I challenged the last changes made to Mom's directives, I might get reinstated at the person to hold the POAs financially accountable.

Watching some more good old Game of Thrones. Is it weird that this has become my "comfort show"?
