Today I am grateful for:

Getting into town early enough to get the vehicle registrations done.

Another hot, dry day, and lots of people getting hay baled.

Getting an opportunity to get some small square bales at a good price, but it meant my sweetie and I going to pick them off the field ourselves (usually it is done mechanically these days, but the farmer's bale picker broke, and he was worried about the bales getting wet if they sat in the field). It was HARD WORK, and it was short notice, and it felt like a mad scramble, but we got quite a few bales that are very good quality grass hay and should have no dust.

Briefly seeing our friends (the ones we work back and forth with on each other's house projects).

Watching one of our favorite classics, "Hot Fuzz". It's funny watching it now, and recognizing a lot more of the actors because more of them went on to be more famous after this was made.
