Today I am grateful for:

More nice weather.

My sweetie made a few phone calls re: house stuff.

We went together to meet with a guy who wants a house cleaner. I went through the house with him to talk about his expectations and so on. It's not a particularly untidy house, just needs the normal stuff, so that's nice. I plan on going there to clean later this week. I'm feeling like lately, with so many vet bills and extra expenses, that me trying to work a little might really help me feel like I'm helping us. More than anything, I want to feel like I'm doing something measurable.

Then we went and got groceries, and picked up a new toaster. Ours gave in, after well over 15 years.

Coming home, making a tasty supper, and watching "Wagons East" together. One of our favorite classic comedies, and I think it was the last movie with John Candy in it.
