Today I am grateful for:

Going to my cleaning gig today. I think I may be getting to the point with their house that I don't have as much to do now. I've caught up on the extras like cleaning the ceiling fans and getting a bunch of clutter down from the top of the kitchen cabinets. The bathrooms only take about ten minutes each, whereas the first time I cleaned it took about half an hour each because of built up shower scum etc. Since they didn't have an "extra" for me today, I was done in three hours instead of four. I also see a leaning towards cleaning every other week instead of weekly. I'm a little disappointed that I won't earn as much, though I'm happy for them that they are likely enjoying having a much cleaner home.

I went to see River afterwards, and it was pouring rain. Yet, because everything on the property at this new barn is either gravel or grass, it wasn't a muddy cesspool and my horse was standing on nice wet grassy pasture, not up to his knees in manure-mud.

I brought him in, dried him off, and fed him some of his extra feed (which he loves).

We had a good ride, and his breathing is back to pretty much normal. It's kind of a mystery. Perhaps because we had some very cold weather, then a bit of a warm spike? We're going to keep an eye on this irregularity.

Nice to be around the other people at the barn, and to have something physical to do.

I came home, and my sweetie (he's on days off right now) made supper, and we watched a movie (Killerman) that was pretty good, but really graphic.
