Today I am grateful for:

Having a warm home with books and movies and a computer and animals to wait out this cold snap.

A good phone conversation with my Mom, and one of my sisters.

My sweetie came home from work early, because it was too cold for any of the tradespeople to work. My husband isn't a trades person, he works in the office, but if the trades aren't working, they don't need anyone in the office. I'm glad he's home for the next little while. If it's going to be this cold, I'll feel better with someone else around.

That we have a place in the garage for the goats. I put them in today, and they seem comfortable enough in there. It's heated to just a little above freezing, which is better than being room temperature because they have their winter coats and you don't want them being too warm.
