Today I am grateful for:

Cleaning for the family. I haven't been for a few weeks, he was short on cash. I'm not sure if we're going to go back to any kind of regular schedule, or if he's just going to get me to clean every now and then. It's a lot harder to do a good job when you only get called in when things get a little rough and no one can stand the bathroom anymore. You can't do a nice job and do any dusting or any little things, you spend the whole time just on the bathrooms and kitchen. We'll see.

A good lesson with River. We did more work on the lateral movement, and learning a new one for the shoulders, as well as addressing the resistance to bridling (He's not horrible about it, but in general his whole issue is the many small ways that he is bracing or tight, so we're addressing them all one by one). Then I rode for a while.

It was the barn owner's (R) birthday, so she, myself, and another rider (who is also more of a personal friend of R's) had a small, socially distanced "party" where we chatted together for a while. That's pretty mellow for a birthday party, but it was nice to be social.

Coming home and watched "Birds of Prey" with my sweetie. It was okay.
