Today I am grateful for:

Absolutely gorgeous weather. About 16C and sunny.

The lady farrier could come fairly quickly after I contacted her. Sometimes I have to wait. She had some other work right in my area, so yay. I really like this person, she and I have a lot of the same values when it comes to animals.

The trimming went pretty well, with only little bit of drama. I'm really proud of how far the ponies have come. The first trimming was VERY dramatic, and now they shift around a bit, but only because the rasping feels so weird, likely.

I cleaned out the big water tub for the goats/ponies. It gets algae in it, which has to be removed often. It builds up on the sides.

I spent some more time on yard work, raking up dead grass away from the trees, pruning out dead branches. I have a lot to do this year because it hasn't been done in a while.

Then I did some more leading with the ponies. They were really relaxed, and it was very nice to walk around the pasture leading them (one at a time). Not that different from walking a big dog.
