Today I am grateful for:

Another pleasantly warm and sunny day.

My sweetie was up before I was, and I'm glad he went out and saw who was outside. It was the people to the North of us, who moved in this past spring. They wanted to look at some of the windows we have, salvaged from the trailer (they are also renovating). They're not sure if they want the windows; they might use them if they build a little guest cabin.

They said that the previous owner (I've mentioned him a lot before, he's got issues) apparently showed up in their yard (that was his place before they bought it), to take some of the stuff he'd left there! What nerve! I wonder what he would have done if they weren't home! They should definitely lock up the storage buildings and their house when they aren't home, and I'm thinking a security camera. He did not make arrangements with them when he sold the place to come back for anything, and legally everything there belongs to the new owners. They didn't have to give him anything. They've even already been living there for four or five months now. He literally drove in like he still owned the place and took the dog kennel and some other things that he wanted. I think they just let him do it rather than start a fight, but I think they should have stood their ground and asked him to leave. It just sets a precedent for him intruding in their lives.

It bothers me to think that he's still coming back to this area.

We went to town for groceries, and I also went to the thrift store. I found some movies/books, and a couple of clothing items.

We got some wooden handles to fix a wheel barrow, and then got a burrito. Then we got groceries.

We came home and watched the first half of "The Right Stuff".
