Today I am grateful for:

We got the inspection done on the addition that needed to happen before we could close the interior walls with drywall. He approved of the electrical work with one or two minor changes that can be done easily.

I think it took a load off of my husband's mind. Maybe this is why he was so upset the other day? Not that he should take it out on me; we have better ways to talk about stress than freaking out at each other.

I went and cleaned for the family. I am a little annoyed that it has become this very irregular thing, where G just texts every couple of weeks to see if I can clean for him. I guess as long as he's okay with me not always being available (because I can't just keep Thursday open for him if he's not committing to a schedule).

Usually now, when G wants me to come clean, it's because the bathroom is so bad that they can't live with it anymore. It's a little sucky knowing what's waiting.

Anyhow, it went okay.

Then I came home and tried to nap. I didn't really sleep but it was nice to rest.

Then I picked more raspberries once it was a little cooler outside, and we walked around the horse pasture.

The new neighbors were partying today, and you could hear them loud and clear. They aren't that far away. Then they set off some fireworks, which is kind of awful if they're going to make a habit of this. The horses were pretty upset by it. They were the big fireworks that really boom when they go off.

Then we re-watched "Aquaman". It was okay, but it's funny how a movie with that kind of budget and those actors, and great special effects could still be kind of boring.
