Sep. 19th, 2021 01:41 pmMore beautiful fall weather.
I was kind of at loose ends today, not sure what to do with myself. I picked some beets, cooked them, then froze them. Laundry, etc.
I decided to go to the park down the road, and I'm glad I did. I walked along the shore of the lake for a while, and on the walking path through the mostly empty this time of year campground. Then I walked along a marsh trail, and watched the muskrats do their thing, and ducks.
I went into the visitor's center and bought an interesting looking book, and looked at their terrarium with little garter snakes in it. Garter snakes are not dangerous, and usually welcomed because they eat mice.
I came home and finished watched "True Detective".
Friday:
I went to a yard sale and found a few treasures. I was very excited to find a set of heavy brass bells (I think these are bells from Sarna, India, and they are collector's items) which I collect.
I went to see River, and the barn owner R worked with a horse that she is training for someone at the same time. She was happy to have River and I in the arena because it made the mare she was working with more confident (lots of horses don't like to be alone).
I worked on bits and pieces of another lead line pattern that we MIGHT do for another video show.
