Today I am grateful for:

Continued decent weather for October.

I went to town and got all my things done. I got dewormer for Hans, since he was an outdoor kitty. I got clothes hangers at the thrift store, since I always seem to be looking for one, and a picture frame that might be the right size for some of my watercolors. I found "slow feeders" at Winners for Sprite and Hans, since they are both insatiable monsters at feeding time (I also found a trio of Philosophy perfumes, small sizes). I picked up my seasons of Breaking Bad, so entertainment is covered for a while.

Then I went grocery shopping, and I am very grateful to be able to get food.

I came home and made supper, and watched some "Breaking Bad".

Friday, October 15

Today I am grateful for:

Fairly warm weather.

I got a lot of little things done. I cleared out some space in our entryway by putting things away, and that's what today was about. Putting things away. I feel like we must not have put anything away where it belongs all summer, because that's all I've been doing this week is putting things away. Indoors and outside.

Right now, it feels like every horizontal surface has too much stuff on it, the front and back door have too many shoes and jackets and all the stuff you just drop when you get in the door. Things need to be picked up and put away!

I also did a schwack of laundry.

I've been fielding a few more people interested in things we have on Buy and Sell, and it's always a little annoying trying to find a time to meet, are they actually going to buy it, yada yada. A lot of dancing around.

I went to see River, and that was nice. We did more work on the liberty stuff, and it was kind of funny....there's a big platform that he likes to stand on (if you watched the video it was the one at the end) and he kept ducking out of following me to try to stand on it. It's become his happy place. Anyhow, after a while we got some practice done. Then when I was riding, I did what R recommended and kept putting in some "random" movement to keep him interested, rather than just do circles. He did seem to pay attention better.
