Dec. 5th, 2021 01:36 amToday I am grateful for:
Being warm and comfortable in our home, for the massive amount of kitty snuggles available, for a tasty supper and being cozy and watching shows together.
We went to help our friends move a loveseat they were giving to another friend. We visited for a while. We also borrowed a space heater from them, until we can buy one likely this Monday. Ours that we use to heat our little sun room has something wrong with it, and it's better just to replace it.
We came home, and tried to get some drywall up, but my husband fussed and messed with it for over an hour, but decided that it was pointless until he found this one drywall tool that he knows he had somewhere but can't find.
So, we called it quits, and he dug through his shop for quite a while until he finally found it. With the tools he already had put together for the drywall project, but somehow overlooked it. Sigh.
He felt that was enough for one day, so at least we have this tool now for tomorrow.
We watched more "Mandelorian", and while I don't hate it, I just find that it feels like lazy writing. The effects are great, the acting is good, but the ideas in each episode feel pretty stale, and there's lots of plot holes and use of tropes like "of course there's a hot young widow in this village looking for a partner". After a while, you really don't understand what is motivating the bounty hunter character.
