A little warmer than last night. -20C instead of -30C. Lots of wind though, so it felt quite cold.
I talked with my Mom briefly. There isn't a lot we can talk about. Her world is almost limited to just visitors that she doesn't remember, and the birds that come to a feeder. She does seem cheerful and comfortable, and that's the biggest thing. It's nice not to worry about how she's doing on her own, especially when there's the risk of winter power outages and that kind of thing.
Talked to my sister E and mostly we talked about the repercussions of the truck convoy.
R went ahead with a lesson, but it was kind of limited to being in the barn because of the weather. We talked about clicker training, then did some basic work with River.
Pretty sweet deal for River today. He got to come into the barn and warm up, get his mash, then get a whole bunch of treats as we built up a connection between a word and a reward.
Quiet day otherwise. Came home and had a bath and a nap.
I learned that armadillos can swallow air to be buoyant in water, can release air to walk on the bottom of a body of water, and can stay underwater for up to six minutes.
