Today I am grateful for:
Good sleep.
My back feeling good.
Slow start to the day, hanging out with my Sweetie.
He was able to put the doors on the cabinet over the sink, and all that's left is a small piece of trim. No idea why he didn't do that while he was doing the doors, but that's how he rolls, right?
We went out, I did chores, and then we collected crap that's been waiting for a trip to the dump.
So, the trip to the dump started as "let's finish cleaning the barn, and scrape up the stuff that's wet and won't burn and put it on the truck to take to the dump" and somehow turned into a normal dump run.
As things turn out, the dump wasn't accepting anything for their burn pit.
Nice to get a bunch of crap away from the area around the stairs. Somehow broken pails and other detritus always settles there.
We came home and I got ready for going to the barn, and my Sweetie decided to just take whatever was left for yucky old hay out to the bush, one sled load at a time. I don't imagine there was THAT much left to take out.
It rained just enough that we couldn't have our lesson outside. Oh well.
It was a good lesson, we worked on some patterns that will be used in classes for the upcoming show, and I'm glad we did, because one especially is a bit tricky. Lots of homework, which is good, since R is taking some time off and not doing lessons next week.
I came home and my Sweetie had made supper (yay!) and we watched an episode of "Fringe". It's a strange show, and it's hard to feel like there's a real point to it. There sort of is, but it takes SO LONG for anything that feel like it relates to the bigger theme to develop, and there's just all this weird stuff for filler.
