Mar. 13th, 2020 04:18 amMaking it to town today. The roads weren't too bad, though we keep getting more snow.
I went to my regular doctor for a routine checkup, and I talked to him for a while about what we should be doing for birth control. I shouldn't really even be on the pill anymore. My husband NOW says he is willing to get a vasectomy, only after hearing that I have maxed out my time on the pill. While I'm glad he's willing to do this, I think it also might have been nice ten years ago.
That I don't panic too easily. The sewer backed up into the basement the second time this winter. I dealt with it the way we did last time, which was to absorb it with animal bedding. Thankfully there's nothing in the basement yet. Just bare concrete floor. I am incredibly frustrated that we don't have a properly functioning septic system right now, after all, we REPLACED it all this fall. For whatever reason, the drainage to the septic field froze, and so it doesn't go anywhere. I don't know now, if there's something wrong with the pump, or the overflow warning (it didn't go off before it backed up). Nothing seems to be working right. I can't see how we can put a spare bedroom in the basement if we're going to keep having the sewer back up.
Wednesday:
A good lesson on River. Worked on rhythm more, and roundness.
Again, that I made it home safely. It started snowing pretty hard when I was going home from lessons.
Watching some episodes of "Farscape", a series that has Brian Henson's muppets in it. It's pretty good.
Getting more painting done.
