Today I am grateful for:

My septic tank got pumped out, so I can use water again. I don't know now, if the warning signal with come on if it fills up again, (instead of pumping out into the septic field like it's supposed to, which it maybe can't do right now if it froze). It's all a bit of a crap shoot.

My hay guy got back to me, and he does still have some hay. I'm using it faster than I predicted; first winter with the ponies, and I won't have quite enough.

Getting the house reasonably tidy for my sweetie's overnight visit.

Went into town and picked up my sweetie from the airport, and the roads were good. I'm always grateful to have a nice little car, to be able to drive it, and to have the means to own/maintain a vehicle. In many ways it is what makes my life possible.

He goes to bed super early because of his work schedule, but we managed to talk for a little while. We looked at some of the painting I've been doing while he's been away. He hasn't seen any of it in person.

He got me a beautiful scarf from the craft fair that he saw where he's working.
