gottawonderA very warm day, and most of our snow is gone now.
Being able to start cleaning up the garden a bit.
Seeing a fox in our yard. A few years ago we had foxes and saw them almost every day in the summer, but the last few years we haven't seen them around much. I'm hoping this one has a litter nearby so we can watch the kits play.
That my one friend was nice to me on the phone today, since my Mom was a bit crusty, as was a different person I called. My Mom was crusty because I was talking about a friend of mine here who got a new boyfriend and he was moving in with my friend, and I was happy for them. My Mom initially asked a bunch of questions about them, making me think she was interested, then after a few minutes she stated that she "really wasn't interested in this, you know". I was kind of miffed, because I wouldn't have even talked about it much except that Mom kept asking more questions. Besides, I haven't gone anywhere but the riding barn in over three weeks now, and hardly talk to anyone that isn't family, what on Earth am I supposed to talk about?
That my sweetie, after being kind of reluctant, decided to walk around the horse pasture with me for awhile. I kind of hate it when he comes home from work, takes a 45 minute bath alone, and then basically wants to zone out in front of the computer for an hour and go to bed. He really does only have about 2 hours from when he comes home to when he tries to go to sleep, and I feel cheated when we don't do something meaningful together. It was actually a really nice evening, and the horse pasture is finally free of snow so we can walk around it now.
