May. 5th, 2020 03:08 amThat I talked to Mom at the hospital (phone call), and she seemed pretty lucid. That the fallout from her "drinking too much water" and upsetting her sodium levels was this bad is quite shocking. It seems that because she has a "lazy bladder" (doesn't fully void), and is taking blood pressure medication and so on, this business of keeping her sodium levels even is very touchy. The things we take for granted. When was the last time you worried about collapsing and having a seizure from drinking a too much water?
That my family does seem to be banding together to do what they can to help. I'm not there to do anything, but everyone at home is doing a lot to co-ordinate their efforts.
Getting a bit of gardening done, in spite of just feeling like nothing I'm doing matters.
