Today I am grateful for:

Finally getting to talk to Mom. The last few days I've been trying to reach her, but I always call when she's having a meal or getting physiotherapy. She sounded kind of tired and distant, but at least I could talk to her, and my sweetie talked to her for a while too.

Continued warm weather.

My sweetie got the Purple Martin house put back together (you have to take the nests out and clean them, then put it back together); he says he saw one yesterday, so they're likely ready to get nesting.

A good ride on River. We rode in the outdoor arena again, and he was so relaxed he was almost asleep. I really enjoy riding him when he's relaxed, and it's a mystery to my why sometimes he is tense. He did very well in staying in collection today without moving his head around.

Coming home and getting more grass roots pulled out of the garden.

Spending some time just being with the ponies and goats, and really enjoying it.
