Today I am grateful for:

Sunshine, and quite warm weather today.

A good ride on River. Overall he's doing much better at staying collected and round, and engaging his hindquarters in the trot.

Getting more planting done in the garden, and getting some more trellis put up for the bush beans. I know they aren't supposed to need a trellis, but every year they fall over once they get beans and I lose a lot of them to rot.

My sweetie got the second big water tank set up at the house. We'll be able to water most of the time from saved rain water.

Saturday:

A good ride on River. We keep working on the things we learned from the extra lesson from Wednesday.

I can't recall if this was when I talked to the sister that has power of attorney for Mom or not, but she said that Mom wants trainwreck sister to live with her, at least for a while when she first goes home, if she is able to do so. That at least made me feel a little better, that my sister wasn't being pushy.

Getting a few things planted in the garden finally.

Friday:

A good ride on River. At least I was still able to do that, even though it's been pouring rain. We've had about two inches of rain in the last little while, and everything is a sodden mess.
