gottawonderToday I am grateful for: A day that we didn't have to go anywhere. We just did chores, and then made some delicious soup and watched a very old, very silly movie (Fletch Lives). I am grateful for the warm fire in the fireplace, when it is -20 C outside, for just being on the couch with my sweetie and the animals, and having lots of food.
My sister's partner isn't doing very well. Not at all. I am grateful though, that he is getting the care he needs, and because we are in Canada, this will not financially ruin my sister or her partner.
I am grateful that the woman at the barn who has been helping me to keep River fed, is a very conscientious person. Today is cold, and the next couple of days are supposed to get even colder. Even though River has a blanket and an extra warm liner, she found a blanket in her stash that she thought was warmer, and put it on River for me today when she fed him. I really appreciate her kindness, and I told her so.
