Today I am grateful for:

Sunshine and nice temperatures.

My sweetie felt ill in the morning, and threw up, but then felt a lot better. I'm glad it was over pretty quickly.

Getting the old deck from the trailer moved up against the house. It's kind of a redneck solution for now, but it means we can go out the front door and not have to walk across bare clay.

Getting the freezer moved from in front of the garage (yes, our deep freeze has been sitting outside all year because they're nowhere to put it yet in the house) to the concrete pad at the back door of the house. Now at least when we're looking for something for supper the freezer is right there.

Our friend says he might be ready to move some of the mountain of clay off of our driveway soon. Dear lord, I hope so.

That my sweetie and I are physically able to do the work required to maintain our property, that we have the tools for most of our jobs, and that he is a very capable person who can figure out most construction projects.

For the occasional quiet moment where I can just be with the animals outside, or see something beautiful like a heavy fog at dawn, or a cliff sparrow who sits only a few feet away from me on a fence post, or hear the sound of the wings of geese flying low above me. To laugh when our dog plays chase with one of the goats, and to feel all warm and fuzzy when one of our still mostly wild ponies actually comes up for scratches.

Watching "MacGruber" (a horrible movie really, in that awful, gross, comedy kind of way that is so bad it's funny again), and enjoying it somewhat, even though it's kind of bad too.
