Today I am grateful for:

It didn't rain today. Possibly the first time this week it didn't pour. It was nice to see the sun, since it is summer after all.

Going to the barn, and chatting with one person for awhile while she groomed her horse and River ate extra feed.

I did ride him for a while, and that went well.

Coming home and watching Game of Thrones and worked on a scarf.

Thursday:

I got a lot done on the yard. I was able to mow, and I did some tilling around the raspberries that I cleared the tall grass away from. That represents about three or four hours of work.

My friend fed River for me, so I could catch up at home.

Wednesday:

Apparently now there are lessons on Wednesday evenings, so I couldn't ride River. At least it was enjoyable to socialize.

My sweetie and I cleaned out the porch and washed the floor mat, and it is nice to have it cleaned up. I also did some other cleaning. I actually really like it when things are clean, but it's pretty tough when it's raining so much, and the dog is filthy.

Tuesday:

Riding lessons were cancelled because the barn owner needed to be at the hospital with her son. He fainted for no reason, and they are trying to figure out what happened to him. The tests they've done so far, like basic things such as blood pressure and blood sugar levels show as normal, so there's no obvious reason. I'm glad they were there, and got him to the hospital.

Monday: A good riding lesson with the riding coach that comes about once a month.
