Jul. 13th, 2020 03:10 amHaving a vet come out and look at Wonder (mare at home), because she has labored breathing, which can be serious if untreated (and can become chronic). Horses often have this from dusty hay, mold, sometimes just dust/mold/allergies from their pasture.
Well, it rained again today. I guess I'm grateful for the parts of the day where it didn't rain?
Managing to paint a bit, since otherwise today felt a bit like a lost day.
Saturday:
It didn't rain today.
I had a good ride on River, fed him extra feed, and talked a bit with one rider who has a mare that only has one eye (she lost one to a bad infection, I think?). The mare is doing really well with only one eye, and is not spooky on that side, and is willing to jump (losing the eye means no depth perception), so she's done very well.
