Today I am grateful for:

We got a little skiff of snow, which seems pretty unremarkable compared to how blown out of proportion the weather sites make it seem. I'm kind of tired of hearing "WINTER STORM WARNING" for very normal seasonal weather. They leave nothing left for describing actual serious weather. What they should say for little snowfalls is simply "it might snow a bit. That's normal."

I dug up the rest of the carrots. There were LOTS of carrots. I hope they didn't freeze, it was barely below zero, and most of the time root vegetables are fine at this temperature. I have to see if they go soft in a few days.

A very quiet evening at home.
