Today I am grateful for:

My new rubber boots. With all of this water around, it's good to have reliable footwear.

A good ride on River. He seemed to be having a hard time again though, with the transition from walk to canter, back to a walk. After you do it once, he anticipates the canter and jigs rather than does a flat walk. Not easy to get him to relax, because he is trying to be ready to canter again. He was a good boy and didn't do anything bad, he just needs to not worry so much.

I am grateful that I got the dewormer into him this time (last time most of it ended up everywhere but inside him), and that his weight is good, and that he is shedding enough that he is not overheating.

My sweetie came with me, and it was nice to have him there.

Watching another rider with her giant warmblood. She's a fun person.

Watching some episodes of "The Man in the High Castle". I think I will just watch these with my husband when he's home so we can stay on the same page.
