Today I am grateful for:

A decent day at the cleaning gig. It's nice to be appreciated.

I went to visit River, and rode during another lesson. It's getting pretty cold, but if you're moving it's not too bad so far. I enjoyed just being around other people.

I had left the key in the ignition of my vehicle in the position that allows you to listen to the radio, and didn't realize it because I had turned off the radio. Apparently being in that position is enough to completely drain the battery. I kind of forgot about all of how that works because this isn't my regular vehicle (mine is getting the tires changed). My car has a keyless ignition. Luckily I had jumper cables, and the other person at the barn gave me a boost. I'm sure the owner would have helped me too, if need be.

In a weird way, as much as it was dumb to leave the key in the ignition etc, it felt oddly competent to be able to successfully jump the car. I haven't done that before, only helped. My sweetie coached me over the phone, but still.

My sweetie sold an electric hot water tank that we had used temporarily while our permanent gas heated tank was installed. I'm glad it sold, as we didn't need it, but it was still in good shape.

A nice hot bath after being outside with River, and a nice evening with my sweetie. Mostly I just read.
