Mar. 31st, 2019 02:12 amGetting at least some of our waste to the dump today. I was really disappointed that the recycling trailer there today ONLY took paper and cardboard. That's it. It usually doesn't take any plastic, but it used to have a place for tin cans and glass, and this SUCKS, because I guess now I have to take just about all of my recycling into town with me, instead of being able to take most of it to the transfer station.
For coming home, and getting a lot done. We took down the winter goat pen in the garage, and cleaned up all the bedding and put that on the compost pile. Now my sweetie has his shop back.
Then, we did a massive pruning job on the trees at the edge of the yard. There were getting to be a lot of low limbs that were making it impossible to mow anywhere near the trees. We also cleaned out a ton of dead wood from the lilac hedge, and another shrub. We still have to clean up all the branches, but I needed to prune before the trees woke up. I'm grateful for my sweetie's help, for both us having the strength to do such tough yard work, and the tools for the job.
Getting our quilt washed outside, too.
How good perogies taste after working for awhile outside.
