Today I am grateful for:

Some sunshine, and decent temperatures.

I spent some time cleaning the pony/goat pen, and I haltered each of the ponies and practiced leading (they are sooooo green) and picking up their feet.

Roxy got skunked, but at least she seemed to only be "misted" so she didn't stink too badly. Most of it came out with a good scrubbing with baking soda and peroxide.

I did several loads of laundry, and sorted through several boxes of books that I got weeks ago, from someone who gave them to me. I put them into "read", "donate" and "trade in for credit" piles. Then I found some DVDs to also trade in for credit (the used book store we go to also has some movies).

Another very quiet day, which isn't really awful, but I sure am having a lot of long, quiet days by myself these days.
