Nov. 1st, 2020 01:45 amGetting up early enough to go into town before certain things close.
Getting the special food for Jones (cat), getting a few DVDs (I really want to support this store even though there's nothing for new releases right now), and getting groceries.
I don't know what it is about groceries right now, but it just seems like every trip is MASSIVE. I guess a lot of it is that my husband takes a huge amount of fresh vegetables to work for lunch. He doesn't want something simple like a sandwich or anything. He takes a big plastic tub of veggies, because he wants to chew all day. That means a lot of volume in the fridge, and I'm lucky if I can go a week without having to shop again. Every trip means buying cauliflower, broccoli, celery, apples, and other veggies. I guess when you're cooking every meal at home, and not eating much processed stuff, that's a lot of food. I'm very grateful for the means to get groceries, and access to so much food.
Coming home and curling up with the cats and reading.
