Today I am grateful for:

Reasonable temperatures still. A cold front is on it's way, but today was okay.

My sweetie talked to the loans officer today, and was able to set up an appointment for an inspector. One more step down on trying to get our new mortgage activated. Sigh.

Walking around the horse pasture with Roxy for a while.

Doing lots of kind of tedious and puttering things inside, like putting away all the summer shoes in our bedroom into the room upstairs I'm using as a giant closet. Chasing down cat hair from under the bed. Changing the sheets. Putting DVDs recently watched back into a storage tub, finding a box of bells (I collect lovely vintage brass bells) in the storage container outside and bringing them in, and "dinging" them all just for fun. Changing cat litter and cleaning the room where their litter is kept. Finding my stability ball in the container and filling it up so I can use it. These are kind of boring "make busy"things, but it does need to be done.

Talking to my eldest sister again, and enjoyed that.

Mostly I'm just grateful that we're hanging in there. None of this has been easy, and there's still so much to do before we can relax, but we are still getting things done, a little bit at a time.
