Today I am grateful for:

Another reasonable day for weather.

My sweetie and I put together the "cold weather pen" for the goats in the garage. Every winter we erect a pen for the goats in the garage to be used when it gets too cold for them to stay outside. The garage is heated a bit, not so that it's "warm", (and you wouldn't want it to be warm), but it is just hovering above freezing, but that would still make it 30 degrees warmer than outside when I have to bring the goats in. The goats usually go back outside after only a few days, when we get those real cold dips.

We went to go see River, and that was good. There was another person riding, and we did see the barn owner's husband as he was doing chores. It was good to get out and do something physical. River did well, and was feeling good. He is super white and clean right now because of the snow, and the fact that he wears a blanket. It looks nice too, because he has his winter hair, so he's fluffy and white.

Then we came home, and had a quiet evening of me reading and him playing computer games.
