Today I am grateful for:

Just getting through another day. Nothing horrible, just another very bland day that's almost impossible to distinguish from the last several weeks.

It's still pretty cold, but a little better than yesterday.

I went to see River, and we did well with the leading and groundwork, but he got very distracted when the barn owner was moving horses around outside at one point. I did ride him for a while, but he didn't seem to be thinking about our work, just wondering what was going on outside. It was still nice to get out and do something, and the other rider was there tonight. A different mare in the barn lured me into giving her some nice butt scratches for a while.

Fatty is still eating, but not tons. It's work to get him to keep eating a little more here, a little more there.

I did do an eye makeup tutorial, and I think it looks okay. It helped a lot to start by covering the entire lid with concealer first, as a base. The video showed me that the darker shadow should go a little above the crease in my lids, which I was doing wrong before, and she blended a lot more than I would have. I feel like my results looked nice, and not as muddy as usual. I tried to get a picture, but it doesn't show up well. Turns out there's an art to taking the selfie too. I don't know how you're supposed to do it without distorting the shape of your face.
