Today I am grateful for:

Beautiful weather.

Getting some things done. We trimmed both of the goats' feet. We put the Purple Martin house back together (about two weeks ago we took it apart to clean last year's nests out, and to let the inside dividers sit in the sun to kill any potential mites). We picked up the branches I cut from the hedge and put them on the trailer, along with a bunch of stuff left in the basement from installing everything (so there's small wood chunks, bits of PVC, old insulation, etc.) and the garbage pails. We'll try and go to the dump tomorrow.

We picked up some dog crap, raked up some dead grass, that kind of thing.

We made some concrete decisions about windows for the addition so we can order them.

We went for a walk on the gravel road and picked up cans and litter. We did this about two weeks ago and picked up a ton of cans. Now all of the snow is gone, and we got what looks like the rest. Now that the one neighbor has moved away (the one we suspect was dumping all the beer cans) I wonder if it will be cleaner.

Then we spent some time leading the ponies.

We watched an older movie from 2003, "Intolerable Cruelty", which was pretty good.
