Today I am grateful for:

That the wind, though cold, didn't make it impossible to do anything. We've had some days recently of howling wind that just makes sense to stay inside.

I cleaned for the family, and that went well.

I had a lesson with River at the barn today. We did a lot better with some of the in hand obstacles. He seems a lot softer with backing up. We need to practice shoulder work some more. We rode for a while, and R says he's a lot softer in the bit, and is carrying himself better.

I came home and watched a few episodes of "Dead Like Me". It's strange to think of how OLD that show actually is, but they've done a good job with not making it feel dated by how they dressed the characters and they only thing that's "dated" is that people aren't staring at their phones. I'm old enough to remember a time when people did other things.
