Today I am grateful for:

Still a little cool today, but at least it was sunny.

Managing to get to town today with lots of time before the vet clinic closed (I'm usually cutting it close). I needed more medicine for Fatty, and special food for Jones.

I was a also able to make it to the UFA (farm store) for some senior horse food for our old girl. The store has a cat, whom I try to find and spend some time with whenever I'm in the store. I'm never sure if she gets enough love and attention, or if there's any of the staff that take the time. Maybe lots of people pet her, but is it weird for her that she doesn't get to bond with anyone special? Anyhow, lately she's just seemed like an old kitty, and I hope that the store will take good care of her in her last years, or if someone at the store would take her home and give her personal attention. I even cried a little. I've gotten kind of attached to her over the years, but I won't have a chance to say goodbye to her if it's her time.

I found a metaphysical store in town, that has apparently been there for 15 years and I didn't know about it. It has lots of shiny stones, some nice jewelry, and those Tibetan singing bowls. They don't have much of a store front, and there's no real reason I would have walked past it. Their store showed up in my Facebook feed. Anyhow, I'll likely go there from time to time when my inner magpie screams.

I also got more groceries. I am grateful for this always. I'm hoping that this tides us over and we won't need to get any food while my husband has days off, to free him up so he can just relax. He's had to work for a longer stretch and not get his full set of days off (usually he works ten on, five off, but because the job is pushing to finish, he's worked the last two weeks and is only getting Sunday and Monday off).
