Today I am grateful for:

My sweetie took the lawn mower into the city for work, because our local guy said it needed something fairly big, that should be on warranty, and the place we took it was where we bought it and they should fix it for warranty.

He also got rid of all the crap in the X-Terra that's been in there literally most of the winter. It's a big box of scrap metal, I have no idea why he had it in the vehicle all winter. He took that and some other stuff to be recycled in the city.

He bought a tarp to fix a Quonset hut we have, that the cover tore over the winter.

He came home and then both of us went in for groceries. For some reason, I was just tired all day, so I'm glad he did that. We got some movies and groceries, and a few more plants.

So, overall it was a day of shopping and errands.

We came home and watched "Little Things", which I thought was pretty good.

Sunday:

My husband's Grandmother on his Mom's side passed away. He's sad, but her passing isn't tragic. She was 91 and had Dementia, and passed mainly because she'd reached the stage of not eating or drinking. She was in a care home for almost ten years, and for the most part was comfortable and cheerful.

I was feeling frustrated about not moving forward on much recently, so I decided to paint the front steps. They are fairly crappy wood steps, and are considered "temporary" but I suspect they will still be our front steps for a few more years, because the plan to put a nice veranda on the front of the house won't be happening this year. So, I decided to at least paint them white, to make it look like we're at least trying to care about appearance. They'll need a second coat yet.

My sweetie cut up some trees that blew down in the winds we had a few days ago.

We went to see River, and I did groundwork in the arena since the outdoor arena was very wet. Then I rode in the pasture again. He seems stiff in his right shoulder.
