Today I am grateful for:

Though it was a cooler, cloudy day, it was okay for yard work. Better than being hot.

My sweetie worked on digging out/removing two last chunks of concrete that were half buried and part of the old trailer foundation that we hadn't gotten around to digging out. We can't just leave it, because it would interfere with any lawn or landscaping we need to do.

I watered the garden, and continued to dig/pull grass away from the perennials. Then I got some wood shaving bedding for mulch. I'll need more, but it's a start.

We pulled the grass and weeds away from the West side of the house. It's still bare dirt in need of reclamation. It needs to be tilled, leveled, dirt added, and then seeded.

Watched "American Assassin" and that was good. It's funny, there's an actor in it named Taylor Kitsch who did some big movies all in a row, and none of those movies did as well as they'd hoped, and he more or less just does television now. I went back and watched these "disappointing" movies, and they were quite good, and he was a consistently good actor in all of them. Fickle fame, I guess.
