Today I am grateful for:

The reflective foil helped a bit. The house got as warm as yesterday, but it was hotter outside. If we hadn't put up foil the house would have been a lot worse.

We sold another item from Buy and Sell.

I talked to my Trainwreck sister for a while. She seemed normal for her.

We took a load of stuff to the dump, and put the canoe on the truck so we could stop in at the park down the road. The lake there is not spectacular, but it's still nice. It's not that deep and it gets weedy, but that means that it's not going to be super busy and full of motor boats. Most of the time when we go out in the canoe/kayak, we're the only one out on the water. The camp ground is often busy, but this year with all the issues with Covid and some issue the park is having with their potable water, there aren't as many people there as usual.

We had a nice time canoeing. It didn't seem as hot because there was a nice breeze. We saw lots of baby ducks and geese, and some muskrats.

We came home and watered the garden and weeded for a while in the evening (sky is still light until after 10 pm still).

Then we watched one of our favorite movies "The Replacements".
