Today I am grateful for:

The air quality was a little better today. It was also still just a nice, reasonable temperature.

My sweetie worked on getting some more insulation on the one side of the addition that wasn't quite finished.

We cut down a big crab apple tree that had winter killed. There's lots of growth at the base, but all the tall branches were dead. So, we cut them off and loaded it on the truck.

Then we went to the dump with the branches, the recycling, and the garbage.

I came home and tried to have a nap, but my husband seemed to misunderstand that using power tools ten feet away from our bedroom means "not quiet enough to sleep through". I really don't understand how he thought that was being quiet. So, I did not nap.

I went outside and groomed Wonder for a while. She has the most beautiful mane and tail. She's a very sweet mare, but I don't do a lot with her because she is SO SENSITIVE. She spooks a lot, and her reaction to everything is really big. That said, she is very sweet and loves attention. Funny combination.

Then I worked with Dandy for a while. I put the surcingle on him, and used two lead ropes on his halter and walked kind of behind him off to one side, to mimic being driven. He did well, and was calm through the whole thing which is nice. He isn't sure about moving ahead of me, but he seems willing to try.
