Apr. 20th, 2019 01:26 amGetting River's teeth floated today. The dentist/vet (he is a fully accredited vet who now works independently doing exclusively dental work) said his teeth were pretty sharp this time, and had been cutting his cheeks and tongue a bit.
I felt that this person was pretty professional and seemed to really know his stuff. He was also very personable, which is nice.
The barn owner cleaned River's sheath for me. It's a good thing to do when they are already sedated. I haven't done it myself yet, but it's something I should learn.
We stuck around to watch the horses recovering from sedation, so that others could ride. We also did a ton of clean up, as horses who have been sedated apparently urinate and defecate a lot more than usual.
Coming home and being pretty lazy.
A good phone conversation with my Mom.
Watching "Man on Fire" an older, but very good movie with Denzel Washington.
