Today I am grateful for:

It rained! It rained a real rain, enough to matter to the farmers. It has been dry here for about a month.

I had a lesson at the riding barn, and that was good. We worked on the usual groundwork, refining my cues, began correct lunging (there's a better way to do everything),and did some work in the saddle, working on him flexing at the poll (a long-standing weak spot) without lifting his head during transitions.

I came home and let everyone out to graze for a while, and I pulled grass/weeds.

My sweetie cooked a big batch of banana bread/muffins that will be mostly for himself since I don't eat it anymore, but it's nice that he gets to eat it.

Then we watched "Nobody" that was more or less "John Wick". It was entertaining enough, but a little shameless in how it barely even tried to hide that it was the same movie as "John Wick". It felt lazy. If you haven't seen John Wick, then you'd enjoy it more.
