Today I am grateful for:

Having a pen set up in the garage for the goats. I decided to bring the other two in, as the temperatures are quite cold right now. It's supposed to be very cold for a few days, and I feel that the goats are just not big enough animals to stay warm enough. They seem comfortable enough in their pen in the garage for now.

Checking on River, and he seems to be doing okay. It's too cold to ride, but we brought him in, took his blanket off, and let him roll. It's a good idea to keep checking him under the blanket to make sure it's not rubbing him, etc.

Getting my sweetie to the airport. We decided I'd drive him this time, as taking a car and parking it at the airport might mean it wouldn't start when he came back.

That he got to his hotel okay. Apparently in B.C. it's a real mess right now, lots of heavy, wet snow.

A nice evening at home with the animals. I watched a couple of episodes of an older series, "Carnivale", which I'm enjoying.
