Sep. 24th, 2020 04:07 amA good night's sleep. I feel better that River is finally moved, and that I have actually DONE SOMETHING instead of just feeling bad about his breathing issues. I acted, and made a change.
We went into town to pick up building materials.
I got to go to the thrift store for a few minutes. I lucked out and found a really nice area rug for a good price, to replace the other chunk of carpet we were using as a rug that's in the dining room.
I got some mowing done when I got home, which is great because with one thing and another, I haven't been able to mow for a couple of weeks now. The grass isn't TOO long, because it slows down a lot in the fall, but I want to do it before the snow flies because it really cuts down on how many mice breed in your yard (long grass gives them space under the snow to make tunnels).
We watched an old movie that we still hadn't seen before called "Last Man Standing". It was kind of a gangster movie with Bruce Willis, and it wasn't a GREAT movie, but it was okay, and it was kind of funny to see him in yet again another tough guy role, being more or less the same character he plays in every movie. You have to wonder if there even is a different Bruce Willis, or if he just goes through life thinking he's a tough guy.
