Today I am grateful for:

Layers. It's fairly cold outside (-15C) but if you dress properly, it's not so bad.

Going to see River, and he was relaxed tonight. That was nice, because the last few times I rode him he was tight and a little jumpy. Tonight he was loose to ride, with nice, long strides. I briefly saw the other rider. We're kind of staggered time-wise. Her time starts half an hour before me, so she's already in the arena when I show up. Then, when River's all saddled up she's done and back in the barn. So, we don't really "ride together".

I did chat with the barn owner. She's still dealing with health issues with her horse, who is still in isolation. I'm so sorry she and the horse are going through this.

Just coming home and relaxing. Had a nap with a nice kitty (Sprite).

I can't quite believe that's all I've done today, but I was quite content just to do nothing, and didn't feel any pressure to "do something" just for the sake of filling time with distraction.
