Today I am grateful for:

Beautiful weather, and in the last few days, less wind. Today was pretty much a perfect summer day.

We had a buyer for a few things I had listed on buy and sell. She even took an item that I hadn't listed yet, but we were talking and she mentioned horses, so I showed her a saddle blanket I was thinking of selling and she took it.

Buy and sell is hit and miss. It's annoying. Lots of people say they'll show up and don't, or they try to get you to deliver items (which I'll do if it's convenient or they'll pay for delivery), and other people kind of waffle (which is why I won't hold anything for long). They sometimes ask a lot of questions, then change their mind.

We've been doing well so far, and not only is it nice to earn some cash, it's going to make some space. These are things that we don't use anymore. I'd rather they serve a purpose rather than piling up in our sheds to the point where we can't see the things we actually use anymore. I'd also hate for these things to sit there, until one day they are ruined.

I did some mowing. Our ride on lawnmower is still in the shop, and it's a struggle to keep the yard even remotely shorn with just a small gas powered push mower. What would take 15 minutes with the ride on takes close to an hour with the push.

I went to see River, and that was nice. We did outdoor obstacles and rode in the outdoor arena. It was nice and cool in the evening, and very pleasant.

My sweetie and I watched "Jackie Brown", one of the less gruesome Tarantino movies.

Saturday: I am grateful to get so much done, so that hopefully we won't always have to work this hard.

My sweetie worked on raking and leveling and so on with another patch of bare dirt by the driveway that was torn up with construction. He's making good progress, and a patch that he finished a while ago is sprouting grass.

I did some mowing, a little hoeing in the garden, and took a whole bunch of pictures of things to sell. Then I made ads on buy and sell for them.

I spent some time working on an acrylic painting. I usually do watercolor, but I do other mediums too.
